Officer Training
U.S. Protection Service is proud to have staff instructors who are certified in ASP, OPOTA, and Taser International. These instructors are certified by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Counsel and conduct training classes for our officers.
These classes range from Verbal Communication Skills, Use of Force, Report Writing, Handcuffing, Chemical Repellant, Extendable Baton, and Taser.
These classes are conducted for our officers on a monthly basis to allow each of our officers the opportunity to advance in their field and have additional skills to provide to clients.
Officers are trained in a classroom setting before any hands-on training is conducted.
Special thanks to the Ohio Peace Officer Training Association for allowing U.S. Protection Service the use of Training Batons and Mats for hands-on application of training.

Officers have the opportunity to experience what people who have come in contact with Mace or OC experience. 
These officers also conducted exercises to teach the individual officer to fight through the pain if they personally come in contact with Mace or OC.
